U.G.M. Transport Inc. offers transportation and drayage services with over 18 trailers, 40 chassis, and 7 trucks. U.G.M. boasts 24 Gen Set container plugs on premise to maintain temperature of the inbound fruit while keeping our drayage customers from the worry of running out of free time at the port and incurring charges. We have 4 jockey tractors to prepare the containers to unload. This option also gives the Cold Storage control and knowledge to effectively unload and stage the fruit for inspection to optimize our customers’ turnaround time.

Our fleet of trailers is also utilized to handle our break bulk transfers freight from the ports. Break bulk freight is non-containerized goods that are shipped individually, rather than being packed into standardized shipping containers. U.G.M. Transport handles these loads though the year with some months topping over 50 loads per day.

U.G.M. Transport delivers LTL’s daily to the Wakeferns in North Jersey and to Hunts Point Market in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia. Delivering the fruits and vegetables that are being stored in our own facility, gives our storage customers the advantage of early deliveries over their competitors.
